The Nike Air Max 90 “Hike – Persian Violet” reimagines the retro running shoe in a rugged, outdoor inspired look. Drawing favorably from the bright color palette and materials frequently seen on apparel from Nike’s ACG (All Conditions Gear) clothing line, the “Hike – Persian Violet” features a grey ripstop base with contrasting Persian Violet leather on the mid-panel and toe cap. An orange leather Swoosh adds a burst of color on both sides. The “Air Max” branding window, rubber heel overlay with black “Nike Air” detailing, and lower eyelet are finished off in light pink. The same soothing shade of pink is used on the “Nike Air Max” insignia on the black nylon tongue tag and on the speckle on the reflective black rope laces. A Persian Violet panel surrounds the clear Air unit in the heel of the grey midsole. Release date: February 15, 2020.
