Developed in partnership with Edison Chen’s streetwear brand, the CLOT x Air Jordan 14 Retro Low ‘Terracotta’ is the follow-up effort to the Air Jordan 13 Low ‘Terracotta’ from 2018. Like its predecessor, the low-top features a tan suede upper with embossed detailing that mimics protective armor — a nod to the thousands of life-size clay soldiers buried alongside the first emperor of China. Mismatched Jordan and CLOT branding adorns the tongue, designed to mimic an unfurled ancient scroll. Hanging off the heel is red Chinese knot, the end of which is threaded through a coin that’s stamped with a Chinese idiom for prosperity and happiness.
