Description

After developing a collection inspired by the Holi festival in India, Pharrell Williams’s created a series of adidas NMD Hu Trail sneakers based on the culture of China. Released in 2018, the four-colorway set took inspiration from the concept of yin and yang. Each sneaker symbolizes one of four natural elements. Representing metal, the gold Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu Trail was the headliner of the “China Exclusive” collection. The sneakers blend gold and white colors in the mesh upper and incorporate metallic gold accents in the TPU cage and midsole inserts. The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu Trail “China Exclusive” was limited to only 300 pairs and given out exclusively to friends and family of adidas Originals.
