The adidas Originals SNS GT “Tokyo” brings back the original “Stockholm GT” shoe from 1980 with a colorway that pays homage to Tokyo, the latest city that SNS calls home since 2019. The low-top retro adidas sneaker has a suede construction with white leather stripes.

Together with Keisuke Baba we are highlighting the strong casual football influence in the buzzing city, a subcultural phenomenon where football reigns supreme led by the multi-faced stylist and his crew of “The Beautiful Game” supporters. In addition, we have worked with illustrator Jun Inagawa who blends his UK-influences with signature Manga-style art for the campaign.

Designed initially as a cross-training sneaker, the Nike Air Trainer 1 has been unique since it first stepped on the center court. Offered to John McEnroe as a try-out sneaker, he quickly turned the prototype into his go-to silhouette, winning championships with the non-released icon. The SNS “Walking” capsule builds on a trend sparked in the early ‘90s when outdoor activities took off and inspired a whole generation to go out and about. With Reebok’s “Boundless” collection from 1991 to the Planet Reebok campaign, the rich heritage speaks throughout each piece. Spearheaded by a pair of premium Reebok Classic Leather and its updated Classic Leather Legacy predecessor, features an SNS selection of clothing that nod to the sporty elegance of these early adventurers. Led by the SNS Sherpa Fleece Sweatshirt made from upscale Italian fabric with a subtle embroidered SNS patch.

The capsule drop also includes two retro Poly Trackpant in black and brown, a leading garment in sportswear in the early ‘90s. Concluded by a classic SNS Long-Sleeve Tee with signature graphics, the collection comes to life in partnership with LA-based clay-motion animator and musician Kazi to tie into the collaboration’s outdoor-inspired walking story that became a global movement.

The SNS X ASICS NOVABLAST ™ sneaker is an easy to match running shoe designed to wear not only while training, but something to wear every day.

We teamed up with LA-based stylist and creative, Veneda Carter, to drill you with inspiration. Polish blood, Copenhagen born, Veneda embodies the ethos of the shoe with her creativity and style. With great influence in both fashion and streetwear, and an outspoken love for ASICS runners – Veneda exemplifies how to combine fashion and functionality with the SNS X ASICS NOVABLAST ™ in the video below.

When it comes to tackling the elements, a Northerner knows a thing or two about it. We are constantly surrounded by shifting weather, and with that in mind, it’s appreciated when our gear can handle the pressure. Heading in our direction is the latest Counter Climate collection by Converse (which was introduced in 2016). The head-to-toe selection provides all-terrain gear for adventurous people, coating a lot of their iconic pieces in GORE-TEX or offer reversible looks, so when rain pops by, you are ready to repel the seasons and go inside-out. Our team in London gave the collection a serious test downtown for the latest drop, keeping it safe but going all in for the rundown.

To close out 2020, SNS takes on the futuristic adidas Ultra4D performance silhouette titled “Green Teatime” – a follow up to the 2016 SNS and adidas Ultraboost “Tee Time.”

The SNS and adidas Ultra4D “Green Teatime” takes the next step in design with the world’s first high-performance midsole, crafted with light and oxygen. While showing great appreciation for past and retro releases, the Ultra4D is a look into the future of sneaker construction. Equipped with adidas Primeknit, the black and white super-lightweight upper has been treated with a Matcha-like green hue covering the sneaker’s surface stretching down to the progressive lattice midsole for a tonal look. The original pair’s flip towards a green tea color-inspired twist, and wordplay on the original tee time – informs the Ultra4d “Green Teatime”.

The “Green Teatime” is available via Raffle in the SNS app through sign-ups starting on December 4th, 2020 and closing on December 10th, 2020.

The Air Joran 11 is a special silhouette; it’s the one shoe that meets all sneakerheads at one intersection, the sneaker that everyone can agree on. An icon worn by Michael Jordan that cemented MJ mania forever. The mid-top sneaker was first introduced to MJ in 1993, just before he retired, and when he returned to the game of basketball and was shown the final sample in 1995, he was ready to play in it. While the “Concord” was Jordan’s go-to sneaker during the regular season, he added “Breds” during the Finals in 1996. To celebrate the anniversary, Jordan Brand has now introduced the “Jubilee” colorway, applauding the classic Air Joran 11 and its history.
