The Matthew M. Williams x Nike Zoom 004 ‘Rust’ showcases a bulky silhouette that blends the self-taught fashion designer’s modern, functional aesthetic with Nike’s early 2000s running shoes. The upper is constructed from high-tenacity polyester knit mesh in a bold reddish brown hue, offset by gradient no-sew overlays and molded lateral-side detailing in an ivory finish. The same set of colors are blended into the foam midsole, supported by mechanical cushion plates that sandwich a pair of Zoom Air units in the forefoot. Underfoot, caterpillar-tread rubber outsole delivers grippy traction.
