Releasing for the Year of the Ox, the Dunk Low ‘Chinese New Year – Firecracker’ features a vibrant look fit for the festivities. As a result, the shoe’s upper includes vibrant prints on the blue leather overlays modeled after firecracker wrapping paper. The shoe’s underlays are designed to be torn away, revealing firecracker graphics to play to the theme. That layer can also be removed to show off a black and grey mix that represents gunpowder residue left over from a lit firecracker. In the name of safety, the tongues include mismatched warning labels.
